Habitat Restoration Should Be Mandatory

What job would you do for free?

If there was any job I would do for free, it would be Natural Habitat Restoration. I live near quite a few nature trails, and one thing I’ve always admired about them is the push for restoring native foliage and wildlife. It’s imperative that we do for the survival of not only other species, but also ourselves.

Habitat Restoration is crucial for supporting biodiversity, which is the variety and diversity of life on earth. Biodiversity maintains the stability and resilience of vital ecosystems and mitigates the impacts of climate change so we can safeguard our world for future generations.

With everything from the functioning of our world, to its unmatched beauty, to the food we eat at the mercy of how our habitats and ecosystems operate, why wouldn’t we do this work for free?

What do you think? What job would you do for free? Let me know in the comments below!
