Vegan Buttercream

Ingredients

(150g) Earth Balance
1 1/3
cup
(150g) vegetable shortening

(400g) powdered sugar

5g vanilla extract
Instructions
Place all of the ingredients in a large mixing bowl. Whip on high speed for a minimum of 5 minutes or until the icing is fluffy and white in color.
Scrape down the sides and whip the buttercream again for another minute.
Use the buttercream to ice cakes and sandwich cookies. Makes enough for an 8" cake.
