
Let the waffle batter rest for at least 10 minutes; this will help the baking soda create bubbles to raise your waffles.
Follow the instructions and settings on your 7 inch waffle iron. Spray the waffle grid with nonstick spray and pour 1/3 to 1/2 cup of batter into the center of your iron. Close it and cook the waffle for 4 to 6 minutes, or until the waffle is golden brown.
Repeat spraying the iron grid, pouring the batter into the iron, and cooking for 4 to 6 minutes until all of the batter has been used up.
Batter makes 8 to 10 waffles.
